Department Sales: Department sales are made for the official use of the law enforcement agency. The department or agency must supply a purchase order or payment and a request on agency letterhead for the items needed. A completed F.E.T. exemption form must be supplied with an original inked signature of the official authorized to execute the form. You can download this form here. An F.E.T. form is not the same as a state sales tax certificate. Generally department sales are drop shipped from the manufacturer due to the federal excise tax requirements. Individual Officer Sales: Officers can purchase duty weapons that will become the personal property of the officer in the following ways:
An officer can have a weapon shipped to his department if we receive a letter on department letterhead signed by an authorized official. The letter must state that the weapon will be used in the performance of the officer's official duties. It must also indicate the type weapon approved by make and model. The letter must state that the named officer in the letter has received a background check that reveals no felonies, misdemeanor domestic violence convictions or any other prohibtors. Once we receive this letter we will ship the weapon to your department address via UPS. A Sample Letter is available here. An officer can pick up the weapon at our retail location with this aforementioned letter. It is suggested that the officer bring this letter as it will relieve the requirements of completing a background check prior to picking up the firearm. An officer with the current departmental ID can purchase at our retail location without a letterhead, but will have to complete a background check.
Law Enforcement Glock sales and pricing are limited to the state of Georgia.
Non-Restricted Items may be purchased by any officer.
